Wilfred Yap is a photojournalist.
In 2016, His solo backpacking journey through the Southeast Asia region inspired him to capture the essence & beauty of Life through photography.
Curiosity shapes him today. Being curious about human behavior, psychology, culture and social issues; also, about what makes the world ticks – it’s history, people, science and natural habitat.
Wilfred took an interest in photography at the young age of 13. Always experimenting with his father’s camera as he recalled, his surrounding and childhood friends became his earliest feature works. But life lead him down paths he didn’t foresee, and photography took a backseat for a long while.
In 2019, Wilfred at the age of 30.
For Wilfred, it is the right time to start anew. Surely, this is the first step into a memorable journey with many beautiful destinations.
